I also took the enclosure and connected it via USB to my lap top also 4 1/2 years old Then I tried putting it in a veris Hard drive enclosure made by antec. It does not list anything in file system column. It is seen in the Bios and in disk management but the volume has no name or drive and the only option it gives me delete volume. I tried multiple configurationsĪnd even tried to make it primary one time. I took my 250gb HDD out of my old non operational computer and put it as the second Internal for my new Gateway. I purchased a new gateway with windows 7 and the Intel duel core. It died suddenly after my one year old got a hold of the power strip and began turning it on and off rapidly.
